A good set of nails starts before anything is applied. It is not possible to choose the right method without looking at the thickness, shape and health of your natural nails. So with every new client we assess the nails first, then listen to what you would like.

How an Appointment Works
- Nail assessment: we check the thickness, shape and health of your natural nails and choose the method together.
- Preparation: cuticles are gently pushed back and the surface is prepped without over-filing. Not thinning the natural nail is the single most important step for its long-term health.
- Application and design: length, shape and colour as you like, from a simple nude to detailed nail art.
- Infill schedule: with extensions, an infill is usually recommended every 3–4 weeks depending on how fast your nails grow. We set the date together at your first visit.
Quick Notes on Nail Health
- Do not pull off a lifted or broken extension at home; moisture can get underneath and damage the natural nail.

- Wearing gloves for dishes and cleaning extends the life of both your extensions and your cuticles.
- A few drops of cuticle oil a day reduce dryness and hangnails.
Hygiene
Nail tools are cleaned and sterilised after every client; files and buffers are single-person items. If there is a fungal infection, an infection or a painful swelling, we do not apply anything and refer you to a doctor.
