Because each session only effectively targets hair in the active growth phase, treatment is planned as a series.
The Technology We Use
At our salon we use the Megatron 4D Diode ice laser, which combines 755, 808, 940 and 1064 nm wavelengths in a single handpiece. Different wavelengths allow the settings to be adjusted from fine, shallow hair to coarse, deep-rooted hair, and from fair to darker skin. Sapphire contact cooling keeps the skin cool throughout each pulse.

How the Process Works
- Free hair analysis: we assess hair type, skin tone, medication and sun exposure. Details: free hair analysis and patch test.
- Patch test: we check your skin's response and comfort level on a small area.
- Session plan: the interval is set according to the area.
- Follow-up: changes in hair density are noted at each session and settings adjusted.
Who Is It For?
It generally suits women and men with dark or medium-toned hair, and with the right wavelength and settings it can be used on darker skin. Results may be limited on very light, white or red hair. Pregnancy, active infection in the area, recently tanned skin and some photosensitising medications may mean a session has to be postponed. If hormonal hair growth is suspected, a medical assessment is recommended first.
Before and After
- Stop waxing, tweezing and epilating at least 3–4 weeks before your first session; shave only.
- Shave 12–24 hours before your session and stay out of strong sun for two weeks.
- For 24 hours afterwards, avoid hot showers, saunas, hammams and intense exercise.
