Before and After Your Session
- Shave the area with a razor 12–24 hours before; no waxing or tweezers.
- Avoid strong sun and sunbeds for at least two weeks beforehand.
- Skip hot showers, saunas and intense exercise for 24 hours afterwards.
- Use high-SPF sunscreen on treated areas if you go out in the sun.
Who Should Postpone Treatment?
Pregnancy, active infection or open wounds in the area, recently tanned skin and some photosensitising medications may mean postponing treatment. If hormonal hair growth is suspected (PCOS, hirsutism), see a doctor before starting laser.
