How Does a Session Work?
A Hydro Facial session at our salon takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes and follows six steps:
- Skin Assessment & Calibration: Our specialist checks your skin type, pore congestion and sensitivity to set the appropriate vacuum suction level and solution blend.
- Gentle Pre-Cleanse & Ultrasonic Prep: Makeup and surface impurities are removed, followed by an ultrasonic skin scrubber pass to loosen dead surface debris.
- Vortex Hydro-Peeling: A gentle AHA solution and spiral tip smooth the skin surface and soften pore openings.
- Vacuum Comedone Extraction: Using a BHA solution, the vortex vacuum tip painlessly draws out blackheads and sebum plugs from the nose, chin and forehead.

Who Is It Not Suitable For?
To protect your skin barrier, vacuum-assisted Hydro Facial treatments should be postponed or avoided in the following cases:
- Widespread, open or severely inflamed cystic acne flare-ups (vacuum suction can irritate active pustules and spread bacteria)
- Active cold sores (herpes), open cuts, acute eczema or an active rosacea flare-up in the treatment area
- Fresh sunburn or skin treated with aggressive lasers or deep chemical peels within the past few days
- Clients currently taking oral isotretinoin (Roaccutane/Accutane)
- Clients who have had facial Botox, dermal fillers or thread lifts within the past 2 weeks (can be safely performed after the 2-week settling period)
Aftercare and Daily Routine
To keep your pores clear and your glow lasting after a Hydro Facial, follow these simple tips:
- Avoid heavy foundation and concealer on the day of your session so freshly cleared pores can breathe.
- Skip hot steam rooms, saunas, very hot showers and intense workouts for the first 24 hours.
- Pause at-home retinoids, tretinoin, AHA/BHA acid toners and physical scrubs for 3 days after your treatment.
- Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30–50+) every morning.
- Schedule maintenance sessions once a month in line with your skin’s 28-day renewal cycle.
